Wes Keusder

President

Mr. Keusder is considered by his peers to have considerable expertise in all areas of real estate development including land acquisition, land planning, floor plan design, construction management, and sales & marketing. Mr. Keusder has developed, built and sold thousands of homes, condominiums and apartments located in communities throughout California. He has served in the Building Industry Association throughout his career where he has held several key positions at both the state and local levels culminating with his position as Chairman of the California Building Industry Association in 2008. Mr. Keusder attended the University of Southern California where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in real estate and went on to attend Pepperdine University where he received his Master’s in Business Administration.

Bart Hornstein

Chief Operating Officer

Bart Hornstein is a creative real estate executive who has an excellent track record in leading and managing real estate investment, management and development organizations. Prior to joining Keusder Homes, Mr. Hornstein’s experience includes a position as a Division President where he built an entrepreneurial residential development organization which successfully built and sold unique condominium and single family home communities throughout Southern California. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Illinois State University and has a California Real Estate Broker’s License. He was also a long time Board Member of the University of California Lusk Center for Real Estate, Board Member of the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council and member of the California Building Industry Association.

Jeff Morstein

Project Manager and Regional Superintendent

Mr. Morstein has been building homes for over 40 years. He started in New York City and has built homes in New Orleans, Florida and for the last 28 years in Southern California. Mr. Morstein has worked for both regional builders and national home building companies. His expertise includes construction management, obtaining government approvals and permits, subcontractor purchasing and customer service. As Keusder Homes has turned towards developing more infill urban communities Mr. Morstein has acquired skills to handle the specific challenges which come along with constructing these projects. Mr. Morstein graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in economics.

John Mansfield

Northern California Partner & General Contractor

Mr. Mansfield is a second generation home builder who has been building homes for 35 years in and around Sacramento, California. He has been principal and project manager on over 2000 houses and condominiums. Throughout the years he has been involved in numerous joint ventures with Keusder Homes. He graduated from University of Southern California with a major in Political Science.

Shelly Olson

Vice President of Marketing

Ms. Olson has over 25 years of experience in real estate development where she has acquired a unique set of marketing and sales skills. She joined the team at Keusder Homes in 1987 and has been responsible for marketing and selling thousands of homes. Ms. Olson’s responsibilities include management of marketing campaigns and on-site sales teams, creating model home complexes, escrow coordination, and customer service. She is also heavily involved in designing and specifying finishes in our homes.

Laurie Oard

Vice President Administration

Ms. Oard plays a key role in all administrative functions serving as a primary liaison between our on-site superintendents and project managers and our numerous subcontractors. She also manages the company’s accounting and risk management activities working closely with our construction lenders and insurance carriers. During her career, Ms. Oard has been involved in the development of over 2,000 homes.

Jenny Leon

Accountant

Ms. Leon works hand in hand with our construction lenders completing loan draws, processing checks and communicating with our subcontractors. She also plays a key role in risk management making sure that all of our subcontractors have provided the appropriate insurance certificates and lien releases. Jenny joined Keusder Homes after having over twenty years of experience in construction accounting.

Wade Keusder

Associate & Licensed Sales Agent

Wade attended the University of Southern California during which time he had internships with the Ratkovich Company and the California Building Industry Association. He graduated with a degree in Public Policy with a focus on real estate development in 2013. He went on to get his Real Estate Salesperson License and is now part of the sales team at Keusder Homes.
